Bourbon House
Located in the heart of the French Quarter, on Bourbon Street, Bourbon House is accustomed to serving more than 1000 guests a day. The sheer volume puts our equipment to the test and after seven years, it was time to completely replace our kitchen. My business partner, Steve Pettus and I were fortunate to be in New York City during Viking Commercial's first installation at Charlie Palmer's, Aureole. Our initial impression was that it was a durable product, which could stand up to any test we threw its way. Our goal in replacing the equipment was to install a brand that would last greater than seven years, and we're confident that Viking Commercial is that product! Our operation is truly a team environment, and in the spirit of teamwork, Steve and I, along with our chefs and line cooks, designed the replacement kitchen. The result is a professional kitchen that helps our culinary team turn out Creole dishes using the best local ingredients Louisiana has to offer.

The Bourbon House renovation was my first experience with the Viking Commercial line, but it quickly became obvious why they selected Viking as the showpiece of their new kitchen.
